Picture a stage jam packed with 5 musicians and a multitude of instruments. Breaking the silence is what sounds like a choir of saxophones run through delay and reverb pedals while the audience has a moment to get settled. Then the saxophones snap into tight chords as the band begins to enter behind Sydney leading the song with a simple yet strong vocal melody.
Sydney Schizzano and her band of 4 have been playing together for over a year now. Their stage presence varied from energetic and action packed to vibey and chill. Sydney's band is comprised of electric guitars, drums, keyboards, bass, synthesizers, tape machines and stacked vocal harmonies. Sydney is the head songwriter of the group and writes for both melodies and spoken word pieces.
A seasoned performer, Sydney has appeared as a solo artist and with her band at The Bitter End in New York City, in addition to venues on Long Island and in the Albany, NY capital district. Her most recent tour took her across the northeast, with dates stretching from Vermont through Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. She has also appeared as a guest singing backing vocals for the traditional Irish Folk band The Chieftains, and was chosen to sing The National Anthem for thousands at the opening of a New York Mets game.

The music video for 'Never Be Good' was recorded the summer of 2018 and released the following November. Director, Chelsea Schizzano, and artist, Sydney Schizzano, worked hand in hand to film the video. They came up with the concept, casting, marketing, promotion and funding strategies themselves.
Sydney and Chelsea planned a release show for the video that was a huge success. The party was on November 4th from 1-3pm in NYC. Sydney and her band preformed, then premiered the video on a projector for an enthusiastic and welcoming audience of 50 plus.
The "Gibberish" video was brought to life by yet another Chelsea and Sydney Schizzano pairing. It was filmed on July 29th 2017 and released February 16th, 2018.
The video for "Creeping/Creaking" was conceptualized by Sydney Schizzano and shot by Julia Gardner. "Creeping/Creaking" was released on June 8th, 2018.
